United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Only the nozzles are heated, if the washer fluid is frozen in the tubes you won't get any screen wash until everything defrosts.

The heated side mirrors come on with the ignition, they are not connected to the heated scfreen or any other heating system in the vehicle. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

In addition to all the above...

Heated Windshield Washer Jets

Two windshield washer jets are used, each jet containing a non-return valve to prevent washer fluid draining back to the reservoir and also to limit the amount of washer fluid, which can be forced by gravity from the jet during cornering.

Each washer jet contains a heater element, which prevents the fluid freezing in the nozzles in very cold conditions and a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) sensor, which regulates the temperature. The jet heater elements are controlled by the Automatic Temperature Control (ATC) module and a heated washer jet relay in the BJB.

Poor Bobby, you try and help and what happens? Laughing

As TB was saying, if the water in the tube from the reservoir to the nozzle is frozen, this probably explains why a lot of water isn't coming out. Doesn't often take long for those tubes to defrost once your underway Very Happy

Last week in Denmark we reached -9C° and the washer jet worked perfectly. What are NOT working are the headlights cleaners Sad Sad at that's a real pain in the Censored since with all the chemical they spray on the roads the headlamps efficiency is reduced to almost nil.

2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 Java Black

Morning!

I am suffering from no water either - and I don't even hear a wherring noise from the pump - the head light ones work fine though. Off to check the fuse box to see if I tried using it when it was frozen solid.

Maybe OT...

How big is the washer fluid tank? Today I bought a 5 litre bottle and the tank in range is still not full RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT
