I wanted to run the car this morning to get it defrosted and warmed ready - started it up with one key and wanted to lock it with the other to secure it - just in case....

Get a timer on the FBH with a GSM unit and you can get the car ready by phone. It'll not heat the cabin up but as soon as you get in the car and start it hot air will come out of the vents. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Even if you could all you'd have to do is smash the window and drive off

not much chance of that here but the idea was just to stop an opportunist passing the driveway seeing a RRS running but unoccupied

you could always start her up, open the drivers window, close the door, lock the doors through the open window, close the window with the confort closing windows and then use the other key to open it later. you might have to use the other key manually though with the lock on the passengers side |
