Great attitude....I was in Jack Barclay - and while I was there - there were a couple of guys off the street, just taking pics of cars etc. and the staff were really good to them, giving them brochures, tea etc etc....very obvious they were there to gaze at the lovely cars - and hats off to them.

Cars are great......although breakdown guy said the infotainement system could be better. Also, the breakdown guy was one of 8 in the whole country that come out to prestige cars for assist - said that on Maser and Ferr, they are not allowed to do any work, other than tyres etc....otherwise cars have to be towed straight to the dealer.

Engine note is wonderful though - certain speed where it booms, and sounds incredible....just the fuel consumption that is ridiculous - classic example of an over engined car - am sure a V8 would be just as good....just my opinion of course

Kaine....this point also backs up what you said. before I got the GT, the dealer (Hadley Green) had only ever dealt with me on the phone - and they sent me an invite to test GT's at Millbrook for the day - was fabulous - best day I've had driving in years - all that on the back of interest and no g'teed sale. I did buy the car from them in the end - and always would look to them if I was looking for a new one.

Can't beat good service from a dealer, whilst looking at a Audi Q5 Cool , aftrer watching it demoed on the Audi Channel on Sky I went to have a look at it

No approach from the sales staff at all, just looked up from there desks. The car was parked near the receptionist desk who asked if they could help at all, said i was looking at the competition and wasn't looking at buying, but she still insisted i could do it with a tea or coffee, which i politely declined and moved on to the Q7 Cool Cool

Small details count in my book Thumbs Up

Nick - the reason the AUDI guys didn't talk to you was because they are embarassed at the price of the Q5 Laughing

go price one up and then buy an RRS instead

Just a quick Q...would any of you go for a DB9 Volante over a GTC? I know the Volante gets a bit of a slating.....but surely as enthusiasts and not purists it would sit right with 95% of us......very similar kinds of prices. Imperials have an 06 black with cream, only 5000 miles for £69K.......I just hate the ikea wood they use and the Volvo sat nav etc and the raid on the ford parts bin in other areas. Ok GTC uses lots of bits from VW, but still looks very good quality......

I have and thought the same Shocked Even more with the thread on here about a new RRS HSE at £38500

It felt cramped in the drivers seat too, no leg room behind drivers seat when it in my position and the door mirrors blocked a lot of the view when looking towards 2 O'Clock direction.

Not that I am looking to change the FL2 yet Smile

Nick - removing Fuse 22 (or Fuse 2 as Angel normal refers to it as) basically makes the exhaust note LOUD!!!!

As you know looking at getting a newer GT, but found myself looking at a DB9 now too......prefer it to a V8 because it has a fully auto gearbox......other than the size, and the V12......what are the main points that make people decide between the V8 and the DB9? Last time I sat in one, I found the very smooth leather deteriorates in appearance quite quickly, and finding a car with a dark wood key - not keen on their leather combos and wood finishes. Also is it just me, or is the angle of the sat nav a bit wrong too - it always looks like it's facing down too much......is it taken as read that the DB9 won't be as a reliable as a GT? But going by my experiences, a vauxhall viva would have less trouble than my Bents of late.... Thumbs Up
