I read this by candlelight whilst pedalling fast enough to power my pc. I live NW UK so I can make most meets across the UK and would join in on this venture WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

if anything is arranged and you are looking for somewhere to go i can certainly recommend a certain off road course based not far from Whitby and Pickering. Personal experience tells me the Sport can cope with everything they have to offer even on std road tyres. I will post some pics in the off road section shortly, well once i've finished cleaning the mud off the car ha ha |

So was this little off roading adventure at Langdale Quest or Robin Hoods Bay? I did Langdale Quest a few years ago in a Freelander, some of the tracks through the forest were a bit overgrown and I collected quite a few scratches on my lovely paint work. I also bent my side steps, which didn't go down too well with SWMBO'd. Because of this I haven't taken the Sport to Langdale, but I do fancy Robin Hoods Bay. It looks like a bit of fun. Look forward to seeing the photo's. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Moonie Afraid my experience is that 99% Sport owners North of Watford don't want to play in the mud and those South of Watford don't want to travel North. The Disco 3 world is far better populated with the "adventurous and roughty toughty types" that don't mind travelling 100's of miles to a meet in a wild wilderness location (like Weardale or Kielder Forest). RRS owners only go where the Cappuchino's are frothy and the women wear stilletto's (not chipped mugs of tea and women in wellies). On Sunday 18th Jan there is a meet in Kielder Forest with a night time trail through Slaley Forest and BBQ on the Saturday night. You could come and join in that if you wish - I have one spare entry ticket. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema Defender 90, 200tdi CSW |
