So a lot of scare stories about chipped cars but nobody has actually personally had a car chipped and had any big problems.... Looks like I'll carry on with my tdV8 just the way she is then...... |

I have when I first took out a HSE for a 40 min run, problem is I then took an X5 out and it was a good week or so before I then drove mine. To the best of my memory I think mine certainly feels stonger in the mid range so have no reason to doubt its been chipped. I guess the only real way to tell would be to either put it on the rollers or get a couple of cars and test them side by side.
