They way warranty's work in the US are that the part you modified or added on has to directly caused the problem you are trying to warranty with land rover. It is called the magnuson moss act. So for example if you put an aftermarket stereo in your car and something happened with the electrical system they would most likely not warranty it.

MO - I agree with you on Midas and I almost figured that you knew the person doing the install because someone with your mods would not just bring your car anywhere. I also agree about the nuts and bolts but certain people just don't take care of your car. (i.e. getting in and out, how clean their hands are when they drive your vehicle into the bay) Those are most of my issues with places like that.

true, I know what you mean. We have NO high end auto shops here in Tucson. NONE I cant belive it, I'd have to drive two hours up to Phoenix, and thats not worth a 4 hour round trip.

not much, maybe if they did a shiesty job and messed up your cat... an exhaust is pretty much safe, it just is a stupid pipe that fumes escapes from. I've never heard of someone having any problemds with their vehicle from an exhaust, if anything the exhaust will go bad before you have any issues linked directly to it. Maybe if you had a hooptie and and some ghetto home made exhaust which caused back flow issues and lack of pressure etc, then that would be a problem, but the fix would be to get a new exhaust.

Does that help? maybe you can get a strut exhaust, the pipes are diamond encrusted, PM sexy pault he knows some people! Big Cry Rolling with laughter ok that was sarcasm. http://rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic11927-105.html

Also it always comes down to our dealership and how much they will work with you because they can really warranty anything they want regardless of mods. Since they are the only ones working on your car they can either be really cool about everything or real A-holes.

MO is right in this case there isn't really much your exhaust could mess up. I was just giving you an example of how warranty's are voided. Again though it is always up to the dealers discretion.

MO - I agree that isn't worth a 4 hour trip to have our car worked on. I can't believe you don't have any good performance shops out there. All the same you still managed to build a really nice looking car. I just got rid of my "MO" version of a G37s for a RRS S/C. I think I almost had it blacked out as much as your RR.
