As far as I'm aware this can only be done with the right equipment so yes a dealer visit. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Really? Got reference as to where that is incorporated into UK law? LR have the ability to alter the service indicator by market so it is possible to specify it enabled or not but AFAIK it can only be reset by diagnostics.... The only relevant piece I can see in that extract is "independent garages and roadside assistance organisations will have much greater access to technical information, including diagnostic equipment and software."
