figured it out, i raised my rear suspension up a few mm and it went away. I think I had it too low, and it wasnt happy with itself. |

its back, it seems like when the vehicle is slant towards that side and more pressure is applied to that wheel it starts clicking again. You know that sound of the the clicking when the vehicle raises, well it sounds similar but its only when I'm rolling. So when the vehicle is in "off-road" it doesnt click at all. but when I have it a bit lower than "normal hieght" its less but it still does it like if i'm turning leeft and the vehicle is leaning on that side. Its very wierd. I've visually inspected it and cant find anything wrong or catching.

I dont think it is, its from the wheel/hub area, not the airbags/suspension. As the wheel spins it clicks. |

Then could it be the EPB brake shoe retaining clip that has become dislodged/broken, that's causing this clicking noise?

I have exactly this. When I lower the car to access height to enter multi storey car pak and then leave it in access height I notice the clicking from the front right wheel each time I turn left as I drive up into the car park. Am going to get it looked at next time its in. |

wierd that you say that, you're good! last night I did a thorough examination. When I put the vehicle in N, and rocked it back and forth I could hear the brake pad rubbing like it was just wasnt in place properly. The clicking noise is also comming from the caliper region. It must be that, I'll have to take it in. Is this something that any brake shop can fix? or does it take a special LR part? ![]() |

I'm not sure if this affects your newer vehicle cos that TSB was for older ones. Anyway, if I remember correctly, you have to get a 'Parking brake service kit' and also renew the parking brake shoes.

Its just a retaining clip.. could be dislodged or broken even if you use the EPB once.
