Artful - see what I can do with the pictures although the website photo's are accurate and no they don't look like a wheel-barrow handles Laughing

The tips are all stainless steel.

Joka, thanks for the reply,, do you have any pics? The ones on ebay look as though the inner ring is white (or is this just the camera flash?) thats all that is putting me off, also the fact that i dont want them sticking out too far and making the RRS look like a wheel barrow Embarassed

Whats wrong with that? Evil or Very Mad Thats why I bought them! Some of us cant afford a normal RRS and buy the less heard about HSE-WR (HSE-Without-Reverse) like I did!

I bought these exhaust tips so I could pick it up and turn it round!

LOL, thanks for the replies guys! Rolling with laughter
One last thing I thought about this morning in the freezing cold....

The diesel exhausts obviously point downwards so in the cold when the exhausts are "smoking" it will look really odd that the smoke will not be exiting the hole! Just an observation, no major issue>

The lesser car drivers wont even notice, just RRS fanatics like us eh!

After much deliberating about the best way to go about adding exhaust tips to my TDV6 I went to the local muffler shop and they made these up for me. Simply cut the bottom out of a proprietary set of tips welded a strap to them with a bolt thru to a nut welded to existing angled exhaust pipe. All very secure and easily removed for any off roading I do. All that for less than 80 UK pounds which is somewhat less than you are paying over your side of the world from E-bay, Overfinch etc SDV6 (14.5) Corris Grey NZ Spec + door mouldings, mud flaps and tow bar

But Trev, doesn't the Supercharged aleady have large bore, rear facing exhaust tips ? That is what these slip on's are trying to copy.

The reason diesel engined cars have standard exhaust tips that turn down to face the ground, is that this pushes the thick black smokey exhaust fumes onto the tarmac, rather than into the face of kids on the pavement. The larger soot particles hit the tarmac and stay there, rather than get lauched into the atmosphere where they may be inhaled by pedestrians. Petrol engines don't produce soot so it is felt that it is ok to launch their exhaust fumes at a higher angle.

The beauty of the slip on exhaust tips is that they still achieve the "soot on the ground" effect but look better from behind. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini

Trev, the stainless checker is on the car from the first time, I ordered it from my dealer Cool

I really donīt know, if these tailpipes can be fit on range without upgrades. If you want to know, you will have to contact hamann by email. I really dont know. RANGE ROVER, MORE THAN A CAR, LESS THAN A KITKAT
