Some trade in advice from the experts

Hi

My search for a RRS TDV8 continues while still trying to shift my 911.

Whilst looking around, I have been offered a Freelander Diesel HSE in black with delivery miles for £17,000. This looks a very good deal and my plan was to buy it, and then sell it privately/trade it in against a TDV8.

Can anyone in the trade give me a rough idea of what trade in I could expect to achieve on such a car? I am assured that it is a clean car that has not been in any accidents etc, and has been pre-registered. I forgot to ask if it is an import and am waiting to hear back from the seller, but would appreciate any advice in the meantime.

Many thanks

Aled

It sounds like a bit of a risky route because if something seems too good then it most probably is. If you can PM me the age, spec and mileage I'll give you an idea of what a dealer is likely to offer you in part-exchange.
