Not a bad idea BigMart, and something I'd consider doing. The only thing that might put me off would be if this could damage the catalytic converter,(as manufacturers say not to run with certain additives or an engine that is burning oil, thus contaminating some precious metal in them)..... perhaps too early to tell? Wonder what the excise dept would have to say if they took a sample from your tank for analysis? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim in Scotland: You have paid duty on the two stroke oil so the revenue won't be bothered. |

on a practical note, can you pour the oil into the tank without using a funnel or tube? Isn't it a bit awkward doing this at a filling station? Stornaway Grey/Ebony TDV8 HST, September 3rd |

I'm tempted to try it as well, but I'm afraid messing up electronics... Modern day engines are quite sensitive and got lots fo sensors... Is there someone using the 2-stroke oil for some time that can give some feedback about this? Thanks. |

I have tried this for my last 2 tankfuls,, went to Ashford in Kent on Thursday,,,, a 500 mile round trip , I recorded 33.9 mog average, and that was driving as fast as possible,,, eg 50,60, up to 90 where possible.
