Blackberry & The RRS

I am trying to transfer my BB Curve (latest software update) address book to the RRS over Bluetooth and am getting the message 'Object Push Server not found'

Am I wasting my time or is there a fix for this? Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I have a Blackberry Pearl and it works...

I bought my car in August (2007 RR Sport 2.6 HSE. when i picked the car up bluetooth worked fine but i could not transfer the address book. I contacted the dealer and told them about the update that is available, they tried to apply it and it didnt work. In the end, they ended up replacing the bluetooth unit under warranty and it works fine now.

Maybe you need the bluetooth patch (this is chargeable).... RR Sport TDV6 HSE 07MY Java Black

You shouldn't have to initiate the phonebook transfer from the BlackBerry, if the system works as intended the phonebook download should happen automatically every time the handset pairs with the car module. Make sure "Address Book Transfer" in the Curve's Bluetooth Options menu is enabled, other than that I don't think there is much you can do from the phone to make it happen. If you don't have a MY08, you will need the software "patch" downloaded into your car's Nokia module, and like the above poster said, there is a 50/50 chance phonebook xfer will work after that. I've got the same problem with my Blackberry Curve and RRS 07. Where can you download the patch from? Is it available from the internet or do I have to go to a Land Rover Dealer? Thanks

Land Rover dealer must do it via IDS - for a fee, of course (although some got it done @ N/C), the upload takes about an hour of labor according to the bulletin.
