Hence manufacturers incresingly looking to reduce their average CO2 outputs by introducing hybrids.

Surely though it is the cost of changing that matters? If your car is now worth £2.50 and the next one has dropped by the same percentage the difference has at worst stayed the same, at best got closer? What is stopping me change is the fact of having a job that needs the financial markets performing well to earn well and not knowing how long the down turn will last. With WW here - that's why I kept the RRS after the 3 years. Will probably keep for another 2 years and see what's happening. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

FWIW - my intentions are to run it into the ground and when I start having to throw good money after bad, it will go. |

I agree with WW,VA, and tumshie, it really is madness to chuck good money away on upgrading these type of vehicles now. We bought them, and we're stuffed, I mean stuck with them, to a certain extent. I hate to say it, but Land Rover may as well chop down to a 1 day week , the future looks pretty bleak me thinks.
