Also the Phaeton was developed as a 0 ppm car (0 faults per million) - of course it doesn't achieve that, however it meant that no expense was spared on the testing/development side - its too expensive for a VW granted, however its a good car |

I tend to agree - I'd prefer a Phantom over a Bentley any day - I do like the Bentley though - did scan Autotrader last night in fact |

There's nothing out there that is so "perfect" as a Phantom. You can spend hours at car shows poring over them and consistently finding attention to detail that you didn't know even existed. They are a work of art if you ask me.

And hemce you'll pay 250k for one. A GT Speed is about 137k? The interior in a RR Phantom isn't 113k better though, is it? Ooh, I don't know... people buy into a Phantom so they can have a Phantom. Who cares how much it costs? 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? Then Donate to RRSPORT!! |

S, as you know I am a massive fan of Phantom and would definitely buy one given a tad more spare change down the sofa. I just think that the price difference is not justified by interior quality alone. Whilst the RR interior is top notch, I don't think they look quite as luxurious or like the cliche 'Drawing room on wheels' I read a test comparing the Brooklands Vs the Phantom coupe (Admittedly in the same price bracket) and the Bentley had the nicer interior and won the test... Tere aren't many Phantoms made that will cost £250K most are way more. I'll let my BIL know you think his interiors are cheap It seems there is plenty of lolly in this sector as they still make 7 cars a day, ISTR Bentley workers are on 3 day weeks.
