Guys,

As it looks like we will get 110+ mph sustained winds and lots of rain/flooding late Friday/Saturday, make sure you are prepared.... Already lots of folks are leaving town, but we are staying here (in Sugarland, Houston)....

Be Safe !

Cheers..... Brit across the Pond Wink

Right now Ike is about 600 miles wide and looks like it is about as large as Texas and is covering almost the entire Gulf of Mexico. Predictions of multiple inches of rainfall (single or double digits?), big winds and tornadoes even up here in Ft. Worth. This thing is going to have an impact well away from the coast. Hope all y'all are on high ground down there in Sugarland as it looks like there is a pretty big storm surge headed for south Texas. 2011 BMW X3 35i Carbon Black

United States 2006 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Cairns Blue

Fully stocked on food, gas, water and tons of expedition supplies including gas grills etc. As long as the trees don't topple on the house, it should be heavy winds and high waters, but hopefully not much more.

After just getting back from Colorado, I had shifted back to my street tires, but decided to put back on my 18's again this evening just in case we get to drive thru a meter of water!

Watch out for the snakes as they swim down the road, and make sure you've got some insect repellent as the mosquitos will be out in force afterwards.

If you need any assistance Adrian or a place to stay on the north side of town, give me a ring. PJPR
