I heard it would be under $100/barrel by the end of the year a few months ago - seems to be happening quicker than expected by all accounts.

Leo - generally takes 2 weeks for them to drop - they dropped around 5% over the last month - I would expect it to go down again by the E/Sept to E/Oct |

For what it's worth, the general consensus has been that if it breaks the psychological $100 mark, it will continue to fall.

As usual, the forecourt owners are trying to hold on to the high prices for as long as possible before they need to drop them. They are lower than they were, but looking forward to getting lower still... the next thing of course is this nonsense about the government's insulation scheme costing us!! There's no escape...

Personally I would never let fuel prices affect my car purchasing decision. Not whilst I can afford to at least. |
