NOISE AT 1500-2100 REVS

Noise at 1500-2200 revs on my 55 plate range rove 2.7d sport
when in drivein at about 1500-2100 revs the car makes a odd noise,when the turo boosts you here the normal noise but then if you hold it about 2000 revs it sounds weid ,has though the air is not dumpin out!
its been to the dealers its had an engine down load! pair of EGR valves and its still makein the noise!! does anyone know what it could be??? dealers dont seem tooooooooo.(gs sheffield). help

I'm getting the same problem and apparently it the transfer box!!

problems sorted at last.nice man from land rover come along and find problems, :D it was the torque converter
