i live in the sticks so to speak, winding roads, blind corners, and not much room for anyone, but it's quite amazing how the local cycle club, and far play to them for getting out and enjoying the sport, seem to think that they can ride 2 or even 3 abreast, and then getting all upset when i past them. perhaps if they read the highway code, and rode single fiile, it far easier for every one. and i could sneek up behind and get them one by one.

KLJW, I live in a village beside the A811 Glasgow-Stirling road, near the Trossachs, and most Sundays at this time of year the Stirling Cycle club seem to think it is their god given right to delay other road users so they can have rallies and timed events - they spray yellow lines across the road and then expect car and truck drivers to wait while they send off groups of 12-15 cyclists on timed runs.......................... why? We have National Cycle route 7 runs through the village I live in and then it follows the disused railway track between Balloch and Stirling that has at vast expense been resurfaced and rerouted so no cyclist has to go on a road with cars. But will they use it, not on your nelly. The reason given is that it isn't tarred so it isn't suitable for their bikes.................. They have received numerous warnings from the police who seem powerless (or don't want the hassle!) to do anything. Recently the police came out and moved on 20 or so motorbikers from the village layby, they were not racing on the road, they were not revvving their engines, they had just stopped at the mobile cafe for a coffee and burger yet nobody moves on 70 or 80 pedallers every weekend who do race up and down the layby and also make loads of noise with loudhailers marshalling the racers.................. and 90% arrive by car so our courtyard, lane and the layby get all clogged up by parked cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

United States 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Buckingham Blue

Its not RRS or FFRR drivers that are naughty its LR3(D3) crazy's behind the wheel.... driving down Highway6 towards I10 in Houston this morning I spied a Bonnatti grey LR3HSE weaving in and out of traffic and even sitting on my tail for a few mins trying to push me to move over... that is until I put my foot down then he was dust Rolling with laughter .... next set of lights he caught up then spead off anoying more drivers ..... Evil or Very Mad

But we dont have many push bikes here or at least riders brave enough to get on the road so no complaints from that crowd Very Happy Brit across the Pond Wink

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

Melbourne is a big road cycling place... I drive up Beach Road to work everyday and find it easier just to stay in the right hand of the two lanes to get past all the groups of cyclists on their pre work rides...

Cycle group numbers on this road are even higher on weekends, and there was this sad event that happened one week when a notorious extreme group of cyclists on the 'Hell Ride' caused a death:

ST if you had a FFRR you wouldn't even feel them pass under the wheels. Personnally I slow down and set the suspension to Offroad height - to minimise damage to the underside of the RRS. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

6. wear lycra

While looking for a CB for the Defender I found this little toy that should be ample for warning bikers to get out of the way:
