Drive to the Arctic Circle

Hi,
I'm intending driving to the Arctic Circle and then on to the top of Norway some time around next spring in the RRS for an adventure Thumbs Up .
Has anyone got any advice or can recommend any routes for me?
Thanks,

Would love to do that run too but I assume you will be going in April after the heaviest of the snowfall has melted and when I will be back at sea....................... I want to take one or other of my cars to Iceland sometime but the ferry fares are frighteningly expensive and schedules mean you need to have a longish stop in the Faroes on the way back. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi Tim,

We don't really know yet. We're at the very earliest planning stage. We will need to take school holidays into account, so that will dictate to a certain extent when we can go.
I have no idea at this stage what time of year the roads will be passable by anything other than a husky. Very Happy

Anyone who also fancies the idea is welcome to join us.

There a few nowegian members on the Freel2 forum who could possibly give an idea how the roads will be at what time of year

Good idea

Very nice sceenery, especially on the Lofoten area. Roads can still be very snowy/icy in march and aprl this far north.
