ta i know Nick at AIM who do ventureshield to road and track cars, but if i ask him he is bound to say 'do the whole car' - well maybe not that bad! anybody got chips and can tell me where they tend to occur M3 CSL Silver Grey RRS TDV8 HSE SG/IV |

I have have 3 chips ......................... one on the bonnet leading edge, one on the windscreen and one on the steel above the windscreen, all caused by the same large stone thrown up by a passing lorry

friend has his 997 RS 100% wrapped for protection and he had 3 clear tear off strips on screen which i had never seen before........guess your saying it might be worth it! M3 CSL Silver Grey RRS TDV8 HSE SG/IV |

Wish I had it on the bonnet of mine when I went through France, went through a hail shower and it took some of the paint off Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

did that with my CSL but have had to live with 2 years of stone chips that really annoy me but if i fix them i am back to square one. Tempted to try to head off the chips as i intedn to keep it as a daily drive for a few yrs M3 CSL Silver Grey RRS TDV8 HSE SG/IV |

VentureShield did mine, I was about the first RRS in the UK to have it done so was a test vehicle - that's why I got it all for free including the sills which they templated using my car.
