I'd agree with npinks, anything you've added to deviate from how it came out of the factory gates is something you should declare. You should note that the car wouldn't have come out of the factory with Stormers on, even if the dealer did fit them pre-delivery so any money your insurance company pay out in respect of a write off, wouldn't include the cost of a replacement set of Stormers (unless you advise them and they get included).

You can't "jam" the RRS into access mode (the lowest setting) using anything that came out of the factory, but there are companies who sell a module that allows you drive over the limit that reverts it to normal ride height. To be fair, the suspension isn't designed tp be driven on in access mode so not something that's recommended

thanks for the advice shmoogle, so the height I like is called access mode and if I wanted to I could park the car in this mode or does it do this automatically??

You can certainly park in access height and when you come back to car and drive off again, it will revert to normal height when you go over 12mph (I think it's 12mph)... you need to specifically drop it into that height though as you park

AD, Shmoogle is right. If you drive in access (Or off road 'raised mode' too), the car will give you a warning then revert automatically to standard ride height. Best not to override it IMHO

its 12ish mph if you just press it to go into access height. Press and hold it and it will 'lock' into access height. You can drive up to 25 mph before it raises in this mode. I was in the same boat and wanted to lower the car before/when i bought it. Now i absolutely HATE it when i forget to go into normal height when ive just taken off and go over any kind of bump. Glad i didnt get the module. Especially for the stupid 1k+ prices! |

The car does have a lower than "normal" suspension height that you can use when driving.......................
