Bring back public flogging.

Think of the family day out, having a nice bottle of wine & picnic in the park on a Sunday afternoon. As you settle in to watch this week’s selection of scrots being flogged with a cat ‘o’ nine tails.

Nice revenue earner for the council too, as I know I’d pay to watch it Thumbs Up

Very sorry to hear that. Censored Exclamation

I'm wondering if we should have a Stolen Section on the forum and in particular list any identifiable features that our members might spot here or abroad that might lead to the recovery and arrest of the scum.

At the end of the day we are all experts on our vehicles and might notice something that can't be hidden by a change of registration plate. Alternatively some of our members abroad might spot it cos that is likely to be the destination sadly.

Any one else think it's worth creating Question

This is not a new trend so I strongly advise that everyone puts the spare keys away and get in the habit of taking your keys to bed or put them in the safe. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Martin,

Can we have one that can't be filled with banter or be strictly moderated to remove any banter Question

My ideas would be:-

Looser will post the details of the car and/or pics. And update if recovered.

Also general locality of loss might be useful. Date.

Looser Details to show in particular anything that makes your RRS stand out from the crowd. ie wheels, mirror covers, exhausts, damage.

Any other thoughts appreciated. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Sounds like a good idea to me,

On the keys front - the plod have said that these guys are determined pro's and if they want your pride and joy they DO come in and ransack the place until they find the keys. Not sure if I want to have the keys around me if they come hunting. Even though I was in - the keys were downstairs and I was upstairs.

Sorry to hear what happened Sad

Perhaps it was "lucky" that they found the keys. Bad enough that the fCensoredg little tw:censored:ts were in your house but to wake up and find them in the bedroom would be dreadful.....

Hope your insurance play fair and/or Mr Plod manages to find it.....

Perhaps it's time for us all to seriously consider a Tracker device ........

BTW, also agree it's a good idea to have a stolen section Thumbs Up Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

Not necessarily Steve..

Dexter.. sorry to hear about this.. and probably a good thing you didn't have your keys near you.

A client had an RS4 cab stolen in Dec 07, and they threw a paving slab through their patio window, when they were in the lounge! and the front of them was astonishing.. they made off with the RS4 after assaulting the man and his wife as they tried to resist..

I used to leave the M3 keys downstairs on the table, because if they have gone to the trouble to break into your house to get your keys when they know your upstairs sleeping, they won't stop at your bedroom door to be fair.

Saying that though, i don't know how i would feel if someone tried to take my keys away from me, don't think i could just stand there.. but that would be the best thing to do to be fair.. i remember having this discussion with MDP and some of the guys at the last Cov meet.. is a real unfortunate thing, which is part of ownership of these top end motors unfortunately..
