back on topic... sorry. if you were a quake fan then you might enjoy either Call of Duty 4 or Battlefield 2...

none of the current console systems (I have all three) can replicate the movement using a keyboard & mouse on a PC. I think this is where a PC excels and will always leave the consoles lagging... there only so much control you can have with a game controller.

If you start getting into it again you possibly should consider looking at a Zboard.... makes the games so much easier/enjoyable to play RRS First Edition S/C, Vesuvius Orange, Rear Entertainment, Alpine TUE-T200DV, Stormer Alloys. (+ 19" MTR's for playing in the snow!)

Couldn't agree more Lemm

Keyboard/Mouse is unbeatable as an interface for Shooters. No console can beat a well spec'd PC. Battlefield 2 is a great multiplayer game. I've been playing it since it came out and still don't get bored of it!

On the 1st computer part of this thread - Mine was a Sinclair ZX80. It was the 1st incarnation before the 81 and you had to build it yourself - we did it as a project in Physics Class

The best game was Elite although Frak was pretty good. I passed my test in 88 too we had a Daihatsu Fourtrack and it was great fun, the back seats folded flat too Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate
