United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red
..let the (PC) games begin

OK, so now I have a shinny new laptop with game graphics card installed. So what PC games should I buy ?

Many years ago I was well into Quake Cool and quite a few years before that I enjoyed Heads & Tails on the Amstrad PCW8276 and at Uni I was the unbeaten master of Asteroids (could score 99,990 everytime and had all 10 top 10 rankings using my user name of TIT) Razz

Guess gaming has probably moved on from there. What would you recommend. And what is this On-line gaming mularky I have heard about ..... RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini
Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema
Defender 90, 200tdi CSW

Assassins (too many ssss, I think) Creed is good if you can stand the frustration of trying to work out where you go next........I spend most nights wandering around like a sad muppet randomly beating up innocent bystanders.......I think I may have become a chav of the gaming world Big Cry L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

5 series for the miles Smile

RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone

45 others have been and gone!

All depends what kind of games you like. I play only on PS3 and the games i've played recently are?

MGS4 is an absolutely stunning game (But you do have to sit through a whole heap of cut-scenes but they do tell a fantastic story Bow down Thumbs Up ) but not sure if it's on PC? If so, a MUST HAVE!

GTA IV is fantastic too Thumbs Up

Assassins Creed was quite a disappointntment for me, far too repetative.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is great but better waiting for full game next year

Resisitance: Fall of Man was brilliant and 2nd game is due out later this year (I think)

F.E.A.R, like Resistance above was a great FPS (First Person Shooter) if you like Quake as you mentioned above Thumbs Up . Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Ah the old days of gaming

The Leather Goddesses of Phobos Cool Cool

Rouge Cool

I was the undisputed champion of Decathlon in our office…...........

Yes I said office Laughing

In the heady days of the early to mid eighties, from a certain room, in the back corner of the building, you could always hear the relentless pounding of a keyboard, as Bruce Jenner raced his way around the track, or launched himself over yet another high jump Whistle Laughing

Me too Laughing

For Decathlon & the interactive games, like Adventure or Leather goddesses I had an IBM with twin floppy drives & colour screen.

At work we had a Sperry with Xenix as the OS, which I cut my programming teeth on. But you could boot up the Sperry in DOS too, so myself & the Financial Controller, used to “cause” problems with Xenix, “requiring” the machine to be booted in DOS, so we could play rogue all day long Whistle

That Sperry cost the company a solid fortune back in the day & produced not a single shred of useful information, or was in any way productive Shocked

But boy were we Rogue experts Rolling with laughter
