Any insurance brokers on site?

My mother has received her yearly home insurance quotes and feels that her broker hasn't looked for the best deal for her - are there any forum members who deal with home insurance?

I work for one, but we specialise in Buy to Let Landlords Insurance

So I would recomended looking at a comparison site such as Money supermarket and I think Tesco have it on their site too IIRC

I can recommend a broker, but understand that you'd rather support those on this site.

Hmm, never used a broker for insurance... always went direct, but have you tried texting Kam to see if he knows anyone (not sure if MHC do insurance)?

Hi VA.

Yes we do have specialist Insurance agents who deal with all our stuff, and cover our clients for GAP Insurance etc. They may be worth speaking to in regards to home insurance, they work with the top insurers and on home insurance they have a quote beating system, so anything you may get quoted from another company, they will look at, this is something we are looking to assist with directly, and have paperwork going through currently to become FSA appointed reps for them, so we can bring this to the open market.

Would be happy to pass on the details though for you to deal direct with? They beat all the GAP RTI quotes we got, and provide quite a slick service for our clients so far to date.

Drop me a PM/email/text if you want the details, or happy for me to pass yours on to them?
Cheers mate.
