I had the rubber mats... living somewhere muddy it would have been a waste of time to have the carpet mats. They also have an air of solidity about them and look good with the little metal corners. If I remember they do have a slight lip around the edges, but then how much loose water is going to be on your shoes such that it would cascade over the edge of the mat? |

Yep, you can pick them up on eBay for much less than dealer price... even with the usual 10% discount, so it's quit feasible to have both. The inactive set can go in the boot when you're not using them. |

you need both, rubber for when its wet and carpet for when you get naked in the back - trust me |

Go for the carpet one ... the rubber are not so nice design and finally the carpet is ok with mud and all |
