You've had it 5 mins!! Shocked

Says something about the car that you're bored with it after the short period you've owned it.

Friend of mine and a few of his associates bought a hand full of R8's, ran them for a bit and sold them on...between them they have a fleet of RRS's, FFRR's, Carrera's, F430 etc etc Bow down one of the lads is selling his Lambo.

I wouldnt be a friend to him if i didnt put it forward for your consideration Mr Fresh...he is a good bloke its definately worth ringing him as I am sure he is flexible on the price!

Unfortunately I think the R8 is an awesome car but the wow factor of a Supercar manufacturer isnt there with those 4 rings...defo needs to be a raging bull or prancing horse if you can afford 80/90K in my opinion.

Yeah, I've heard that a few times too from people... "it's nice, but it's still an Audi". Maybe if I could afford to spend 90k on a car I'd think that too Big Cry

Absolutely Shmoogle Thumbs Up ive a long way to go before I am considering spending that sort of figure on a car...However if i was my personal choice would be a 997 turbo having always being an admirer of 911 turbo's.

No horse or bull badge but a very usable wow factor supercar:

There's always the thought at the back of your mind with an Audi that it might appear sometime down the line in Skoda or Seat disguise I suppose.
You could buy an awful lot of ticked up Defenders for £90k and have far more fun and get no envious looks and very little unwanted attention! In fact you could have a nice Overfinched 5.0 litre V8 90 for scaring the living daylights out of R8 owners for an awful lot less than the Audi and still have change to buy an unmodified one for offroading! I mean wouldn't you be scared if you owned an R8 and a humble 90 with an 0-60 of 5.2 secs didn't disappear from your rear view mirror - OK so it hits a brick wall at 110mph, but on UK roads does that really matter?

Jonny I recommend a bog standard 10 year old Def90 for boredom relief now the Audi has lost it's novelty, it isn't fast but it's can handle speed bumps with ease and is almost unstoppable! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Jonny - understand where you're coming from in a way, as I'm selling my Maser end of this week - but not because I'm bored, just scared having so much money tied up in a car - just scares me a little. I've made 5K over what I paid for it, but would prefer to see my money in something else - not having a driveway or garage worried me every night too....hence GT is leaving me on Friday....wish I had the balls to go for a Lambo...but will stick with a 3 year old Bentley GT instead...

Houses with garages - beyond my budget in London.....and I'm thinking of moving and yet to another house without a drive or a garage....

3 bed cottages in parts of the burbs can cost £800K, without drives or garages.......hence my need to get rid of the Maser...if only I had an arfer daily lock up!
