Ronnie i had mine done a good few weeks back and i am more than impressed with it. The difference in torque acceleration and overall power is amazing and the most important thing for me was it got rid of the terrible flat spot.

That is the going rate for remapping over here.. I am getting the Rangie and my ST Mondeo done at the same time so that brought it down a wee bit but remapping is never really over £300 for any car. I think it is to do with the fact that NI is pretty small and there are alot of diesel tuners! |

You cant live map these cars on the dyno unless you are using Etas Inca software which is manafacturer level software. You can log live data and stop the car , adjust the mapping ,then restart the dyno run. Last edited by bellautos on Wed Apr 09 2008 10:07pm. Edited 1 time in total |

the problem is that there are soo many diesel specilaists over here that have been remapping diesel engines since the software has been available that it has driven the cost down and at £500 a map you would co out of business. the guy doing mine has all of the proper equipment to live map the range and has taken me for a run in a customers one that was mapped several months ago. I have a friend who has had his ST mondeo remapped by this guy and it is a vast improvement over mine. He will map the Range to be smoother and deliver a more even spread of power for daily driving moreso than just give it a load more BHP which is what I like! |

Im glad that the price is very good for you , you are getting what most tuners will do which is a remap.
