As you insist...

Blacked out windows are for drug dealers or people who carry really ugly passengers...or worse people who think they would like to be drug dealers if they could only break away from the allure of the routine of their RAC Call Centre Management Enterprise Scheme for Young Hopefuls (although they are 45)...

Occasionally used by famous people...but the famous person sits in the BACK...and the chauffeur drives...

What else....hmmm....commercial vehicles have no rear windows....

Apart from the idea that aesthetically it makes the car appear much smaller and lighter...almost nimble...

Lastly I find them unsafe because when I turn around to look over my shoulder to make sure I'm not squashing a Cycle-Lemming I can't see a thing....

So....why do you so love your blacked out windows....? 2007 Audi Q7 4.2 FSI Grey/Black Int.

Think I have to agree with AJSG......Mine's got only very slightly tinted windows but even they can make a sunny day seem a bit dull. As we son't get much sun in the UK anyway I think I prefer the non-tinted.

Go for your life AJSG, it's your RRS! and as nothing on the RRS is cheap who cares what itrcosts to make it how you want. Current: I can't say...Oh the Shame!

Indeed - but you're tarring a lot of people with the same brush by appearing to infer that everyone with blacked out windows is either a drug dealer or wants to be one. Each to their own, but really.... a lot of people have privacy glass, simply because they think it makes their car look good. If you don't that's fine, but I think what surprises a lot of people is that you are willing to pay a not inconsiderable sum of money to have them removed Very Happy

Just one second...I was quite clear that I didn't want to get into this....but as he insisted I did...its my opinion, and only my opinion counts when it comes to my car...here I gave you my opinion on why I think blacked out windows are risible...

Lastly if you talk about ridiculous cost, how buying the lowest RRS and then spend 1000s on making it look like the most expensive...a bit povvy no?

Its a bit like putting M3 Badges on a 318D... 2007 Audi Q7 4.2 FSI Grey/Black Int.
