I have the admit, i really really was looking at the 3.0sd X5 with all the toys instead of the TDV8. In the end i saw one in person with the sport kit and it just didnt have the impact the sport has when i look at it, so didnt even get in it. Although i really did want the HUD and pre heating system bmw offered. The fact the sport is good off road is a bonus . |

All joking aside S is spot on LR has to make the sport quicker and better handling, as lets face it sport wise even the SC is an also ran. Maybe RR Grand Tourer would have been a better name - perhaps this is how you should think of the car BMW have never from day one said the X5 was an offroader Porsche have tried and made the thing much heavier than it needs to be. What should LR do? Porsche Cayenne S Diesel 66 Plate |

YES! I have no issue with it being called Sport as I suppose compared to other LR models, it is but they do have some work to do to beat the others in their domains. Still love the RRS though, so don't get all moody on me 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? Then Donate to RRSPORT!! |

yea got told at the dealer today the FFRR comes with the pre heat. Gutted the sport doesnt have it though. Just wondering if anyone has installed the clifford intellistart to their RRS? Although this actually starts the car from the key/text message. |

My understanding of this is that you can remotely start the car and it will warm it up in cold conditions.

I can remember it was on my D3, you either set it to pre heat or pre cool, however of course it never did! Speed Limits! not where I live!
