This might help

http://www.pricecrash.tv/prodDetail.asp?id=15886

But over on a detailing forum (I was looking for p21s Alloy wheel cleaner review) they say get it off within the first 24hrs as the ink has dye in it

Quote:
if the ink is on a pigmented leather then the first thing you should try is an ink stick (find one that is a professional product used in the industry). The fresher the ink the more chance you have of removing it.

If an ink stick doesn't work a solvent based remover will need to be used and it may also remove finish and pigment so is best left to the experts.

Using hairspray/WD40 and all these other solvent cleaners is very risky as it can make the matter far worse as it can spread the ink over a bigger area and can sometimes then be impossible to fix.
Using alcohol can also be a little risky depending on how stable the finish is. If the finish is unstable this would remove pigment form the leather.
Nail varnish remover or any other solvents will also remove the finish and pigment which will need replacing.

Magic erasers usually remove finish and pigment along with the ink as they work like very fine sandpaper.

Old ink will be harder to remove than new ink and may mean resorting to solvents which will also remove the finish. This is probably best left to the experts.

Using a good quality leather protector (one that works) will help make this problem easier should it happen again as the ink will travel into the finish at a much slower rate.

Good Luck

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue

i think putting similar color over it is the best bet.

just go to one of the custom interior shop specialized in the custom upholstery.

they should have the touch up powders. (i do not know the professional term for it.)

the dealer, on the other hand would probably want to change the whole seat cover.

i am not being much help, am i? Sad MY08 TDV8 HSE

Yeah, it's on the glovebox, which is plastic... not the seat, which is leather Wink

You'd understand being careful against the leather finish on the seats, but the plasticky finish on the glovebox should take some beating. Have you done this yet VA?
