Pirelli road noise is better (especially on motorways) than Conti. 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8, Stornoway Grey |

Not sure how the 295 / 40’s will work, but all I can say, besed on personal experience, is that 295/45 Pirelli’s do not work with OEM LR Stormers !!!

rupert , I read your trials and tribulations re extra width. There does seem to be some issue that the 20" stormers with teh brembo brakes have extra width , any comments RRS HSE TDV8 Java black/Ebony interior, mud flaps,20" stormers, towing, roofrack, sunroof, cooler V8 Tasmods Sills, black badges, carstyling java black vents

Do you find that with the 20 inch stormers, the speedo is inacurate? It reads different to my road angel speed display which is supposed to be correct. I assume this is something to do with the fact that the V6 diesel was not designed to have the 20 inch wheels as standard??? |

The rolling radius of the wheel/tyre remains fairly constant between all the wheel options available from LR so this isn't much of an issue. The speedo will never be as accurate as your GPS anyway

There shouldn't be an real difference as the diameter of the wheel with tyres on is virtually the same. This Road Angel difference has been noted before. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
