Problems with the radio

I'm scheduled for my 37,500 mile service and I will once again ask the dealer to check out the following complaint. When listening to my Sirius Satellite if I switch to AM there is no audio. I must switch to FM and then back to AM to get it to respond?

I recognize that this is not a major problem however, it has become rather aggravating. Has anyone out there had this or a similar problem? I would like to be able to better communicate this to the dealer.

I've had exactly the same problem, and figured the same fix as yours, since I bought the car. It happens maybe 50% of the times. I don't listen to AM that frequently anyway, so I never mentioned it to the dealer, figuring that it would just be written up as a "cannot duplicate" issue on the workorder. I haven't seen a TSB addressing it either, so it may not be a common issue, but a few other forum members on rr.net have experienced it as well. Good luck, though.

Comforting to know that I'm not going crazy. I will report the outcome of my service visit next week. I no longer need spell check for; "cannot duplicate".
