Reversing Camera to Nav Screen

Hi,

I am about to receive my new machine in 2 weeks, a RRS TDV6 a replacement for a Disco3 TDV6 HSE.

Decided to go with a TDV6 with a lot of toys instead of TDV8 with almost no toys as in Australia there is a $20k difference in the models.

Having everything pre-built in the car, Nav, TV, Rear-Screen DVD, etc the big omission is a rear reversing camera.

The local experts in Melbourne say they cannot integrate into the Nav Screen as it is optical fibre system.

Has anyone managed to integrate a rear camera into the Nav Screen.

Cheers,

Andrew

South Africa 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

I use the system from http://www.tvandnav2go.com. It works VERY well and was easy to install. (No wire cutting, as it is a plug and play unit). Email Dominic at "sales at tvandnav2go dot com" - she is very helpful and ship worldwide. I initially tried the solution offered by http://www.gnetcanada.com but it become faulty after a few months. It was replaced by an "updated" version. The updated version was also a plug and play unit (whereas the initial one was not), but this unit had issues from the word go. In the end gnetcanada requested me to return the unit and refunded the purchase price as it was the first one of the updated version they had sold and were worried that there is a design problem with it. I see that since this happened, the stock status on their website for the RR/LR3 unit has been "out of stock". 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)

Cheers

thanks for the info. Thumbs Up

Will pass on the details to the audio guys.

Must admit to being in two minds about keeping the order as I really like my Disco 3 and not sure about RRS and with the new owners who knows might happen to resale in 4 years.

But after waiting 5 months I am getting excited again.
