England 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Giverney Green

Thanks Josh

Does all that add up to better value for money than just upgrading a RRS S model?

Also am I missing out on any essentials from the HSE?

I think the HSE is a better buy and will be worth more come selling time than this slightly upgraded S spec.

IMHO I would advise spending the extra for the HSE.

By buying the XS you are giving up the option to spec the car to what you want or what a future buyer would expect your RRS to have Exclamation

You will be losing out on quite a few standard features that are on the HSE ie. heated seats, 20" wheels, dynamic response, climate pack etc etc and not allowed to have any other factory options ie Logic 7 stereo, sunroof, factory tints etc etc.

It's a bit too much of a compromise I think.

HSE is the way to go Thumbs Up TDV6 - gone

Totally agree, I think the XS is a bit of a non starter.

Ok, so you get the benefit of a new car, however for the same price you can pick up a 6-12 month old HSE with all the extras you could want.

Plus the added benefit of the hse holding its value better i expect.

Nope, I think that you should go for a used HSE. There is a lot out there for £40k, and if your concerned its not an 08 plate, just buy a private one for couple hundred pounts. lots for sale for £300 with letters like b60 RRS.

My 2 pence worth !

been a freelander 2 owner,

I do like the idea of a cheaper RRS coming out I would have loved one this time around, but,

I do think the compromising on the XS is a little much if no extras can be added and would look to purchase a used HSE if possible.

Maybe when it time to change there'll be a TDV8 in my price range, and hopefully the boss lets me upgrade the company car bracket Sad

IMHO leave the XS alone - far better buys out there. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
