Hi Chris, congrats on the TDV8, it maybe worth you checking the tire wall for the M/S stamp (mud & snow) if it's on there it will save you a lot of €'s Speed Limits! not where I live!

I picked up my MY08.5 TDV8 on Friday. After two years of TDV6 ownership, I'm amazed at the difference. It's instantly familiar, as you would expect, but it just feels so different to drive. The engine makes a huge difference of course, but I also suspect the Dynamic Response makes a big difference. It is uncanny the way you can go around corners and roundabouts and the car stays completely flat, yet it is supple and compliant over bumps and sleeping policemen.

The tyres that get fitted depend on what is next on the rack on the production line, unless you have specified a certain brand at ordering time. Land Rover uses Continental, Pirelli and Goodyears for the RRSport so you could have got a set of any of those. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
