I've Got It.....

I picked up my new TDV8 this afternoon Cool
Stornoway Grey with Ivory interior.
I feels markedly different to the TDV6. The steering feels more positive and it feels better damped than the TDV6. Although I haven't tried it peddle to the metal, it is noticably more responsive and the pickup is in a different league, even from a chipped V6.
It also makes a lovely noise when you put your foot down, even moderately.
My HTC S710 Smart Phone seems to work as it should with the new bluetooth, with my stored numbers now being available from the head unit.
It has the electric adjustable steering column, which retracts when you take the key out and the seat drops to its lowest position.
It will go into JE after Christmas to have the JE exhaust fitted. I can't get used to the nasty standard exhaust after the lovely polished stainless oval tailpipes.

So far, very impressed and happy Thumbs Up

Paul

So far been really impressed with mine, there is something that touches the soul about a V8 whether petrol or diseasel, and nice to see you have a Cobra for the petrol fix Thumbs Up
I'll be sticking with my Ford powered V8 MG for a while, next year I'm planning on a Kenne Bell blower for it, looking forward to having 400+bhp in my ZT Twisted Evil Thumbs Up Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Alicatt,
Those V8 ZT's really have a certain appeal although they aren't as quick as they should be. However, 400bhp should address that nicely Cool

The Cobra has an original 427 Side Oiler (7 litre).

The ZT260 was designed with having a supercharger on from the start, infact the first production one had just rolled off the production line when MGR went belly up. I have a friend up in Callander who has Dreadnought Garage and he fits superchargers to the ZT, he also has a very nice full race AC Cobra coupe which he is busy restoring. His son races a ZT but with a 32V cobra engine in it producing about 520bhp Thumbs Up
