Surely LR are selling enough Sports in the UK not to need to have Limited Editions? I was parked next to a Black S with satnav and ivory cloth today in Stirling - the cloth interior looks OK. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I've only seen one or two S's they are are usually disguised with lots of optional extras and only the lack of a badge on the back gives them away, but some owners even put Suipercharged badging on instead! Last year the local dealer had a white S in the compound, factory order for a client - it had was so laden with extras that the owner would have been better off buying an SE or HSE, because come trade in time it will only be worth what a base model will be worth - most of the extras will be worth zippo. It had 20" wheels, leather, privacy, PTI, adaptive headlights Xenons, sunroof and just about every box ticked that an S can get ticked....................... pointless! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Maybe they didn't know they'll be better off with a HSE and the salesman didn't want to tell them either RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Strange choice of limited edition... and the XS denomination makes it sound all rather Disco-ish

if demand is still so high for the RRS, why introduce a special addition? any reasoning? do they just want to promote the lower priced version more? |

I know what it is - LR have built a load of S spec cars that they just cannot shift so they stick on a few extras, an new badge and limit them to 300 and hey presto folks will flock into the show rooms to get hold of one of 300...............

The same reason they released the LE in the States, I suppose... to get rid of all those unwanted HST kits.
