Hello! I am just in the process of buying my first RRS TDV8 but I have some doubts about it. Because I was driving now for more than 10 years BMWs I wanted to buy first an X5 but that car lacks something which RRS has-it has charm.

Thank you all for the answers. Can anybody tell me if it is possible to find from the car serial number if the model is 2008 or 2008.5? |

Tricky one this. TB would be your best bet regarding the serial number. A good indication is the new for MY8.5 TDV8 badge on the back and the electic adjustment of the steering column. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps. |

I don't think there is any difference in the VIN between 08 and 08.5 my's.

Regarding the TDV8 badge I am not sure if that is correct because my local LR dealer told me that you can choose the badge TDV8 or HSE..... that is what he told me |

I would just like to thank you all for helping me to decide about RRS. I ordered on Friday my new RRS TDV8,M2008, HSE, Java Black, Alpaca leather, 20", privacy glass, sunroof ,.... arriving last week of December or first week of January. Hopefully the RRS will be as good as you are saying it is. |
