In among the manuals for my new car is a small card that gives a website to go to for buying update DvD/CD's for the LR Satnav maps. At £150 a time they are pretty expensive disks but if anybody wants to buy a replacement here is the link

You need to be a bit brave - it will come off if you tug it hard enough

You Don't need to take the Plastic Cover off. Just move the seat as far forward and as high up as it will go. You can then reach under it and slide the DVD players Lock to the open position and then press the Eject button. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black 2013 Evoque 5 Door Pure Tech SD4 - Orkney Grey with Panoramic Roof (Mrs E's new baby) GONE - RRS - 3.0 TDV6 HSE - Santorini (2010) GONE - RRS - 2.7 TDV6 HSE - Java Black (2007) GONE - Porsche Boxster S - 3.2 - Black |

A technician showed me that it's even easier to reach the DVD player from behind the seat, after you move it all the way forward and up. Although you cannot see the front load/eject slot since you are facing the back of the player, you can easily reach the front buttons by feel and slide the DVD when it pops out. No tugging. I lost one of those metal clips by tugging that sucker once. |
