Time for a new mobile phone..

...but which one should I go for?

I need a new iPod (Other MP3 palyers are available!) as I jumped in the pool with my iPod Mini in my pocket (DOH!) and also a new digital camera (Our excellent 3 year old Konica 4mp died in September)

Wondering if there is a way to amalgamate all of these onto a phone. If so, would want a high quality, hi res camera. MP3 doesn't HAVE to be an iPod.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

i got a Noikia N93. got everything you need, plus 3.2 mpixel optical zoom. downside is though; it's rather big. I'd go for the Nokia N95 now. RRS SC Bonatti Grey

Apart from the fact I've gone through 3 N95's in the last 6 months, the battery life is crap plus its far too slow imho

N95 has been top of my list as it seems to have all the features I need but a bit concerned about the battery issues you guys mentioned.

I too like Sony Ericsson, that's what I have at the mo (Can't remember the model but it's about 18 months old now) and considering it is only a 2mp camera it is ok. It is also one of the walkman phones and mp3 feature is good.

Anyone got/know anything about iPhone? Then again, we'll probably get them over here in about 25 years! Rolling Eyes Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

that's one thing i hate about the N93/N95. the flash is pathetic (not really a flash, just a bright LED) RRS SC Bonatti Grey

Super, you can have my N95. Complete bag of bo**ocks. I am sticking with my trusty 6310i. It might be old, it might just be a phone, but I know how the Censored works and it works just fine.

Had my N95 for nearly 12 mths now ........... works 100% ok without any problems whatsoever. Mrs MDP has one too with same perfect track record. It takes great pics in the day - not as good as a dedicated camera at night though - still better than nothing. The MP3 side of things is excellent too. Only this weekend it featured in INGEAR sunday times supplement - Cameraphones test - needless to say it still came out on top

Having said all this - I would definately have a look at the new updated 8GB N95 - bigger screen - better battery - better software & camera revisions too Thumbs Up

Im happy with the N95 too.. thanks MDP, you're wife told me about o2 select.. blagged my way on to it last week.

New N95 turned up today.. backed my phone onto memory card, and straight onto new phone! and the guy said: keep the battery too.
What cover have you guys bought for you'rs by the way? going to keep this one in better nick! but i always say that.. i bash mine around, use it for pictures and email link up via the internet is excellent, so ticks all my boxes. MP3 player isn't bad either. Loads of stuff available on ebay now as Jay says, but is there a newer version out now?

Yeah - the 8gb version is exclusive to Vodophone at the moment - I think O2 are planning a release next year?

As for cases Kam .... body glove fits perfectly - but I have not bothered with one on mine - I just fitted a Martin Fields screen protector. [ ebay ]
