Also........

Anyone migrating over from old nokias to an N95 need to make sure that their SIM card is 3g 3.5g capable as it does make a huge difference . Your network provider can check your sim for you. Old sim cards will cause the N95 to sperodically freeze and generally perform slowly.

Your tel number will remain the same - and the network provider will send out at no cost.

My replacement N95 arrived yesterday, and its much better then the older version.
Looks the same, but the software is much better, faster, internet works quicker, pictures load quicker etc.
MP3's load up quicker.. i haven't tested the camera out yet on this new one.. but glad i got them to swap it.. well worth it.

MDP which cover do you and you're wife use on your N95's?

Also ......... anyone thinking of upgrading just now ....... WAIT !!!

Only vodaphone offer the N95 MK2 at the moment - exclusive until new year.

Beware of the offerings from O2 - these are black versions of the original N95 with the addition of an 8gb card.
. . and not the updated phone itself.

WOW! Now i am confused.

So it is better to get a N95 8Gb (And not a bodged together old model with uprated card)

What about the new N82? Is that any good?

Camera and MP3 function are most important to me (As well as phonecalls and texts!)

Iphone is good if you have it on O2 but you can use half the toy's on it on any other network!

The N95 GB8 is meant to be a better phone faster, better battery and better screen

The N92 look like all it's got over the N95 is a much better flash RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

I can't imagine we'll ever get iPhones over here.

Mobile networks here are dominated by CYTA-Vodafone. the old model N95 here is CYP£349 (GBP£435ish).

You can only get the N95 8BG on Voda over here at the mo been told it will be out on the other network in the new year

So where ever you get this from it will be on UK Voda if it's not it will be an import but either way will work fine over in Cyprus RRS TDV6 Gone but still around
