Yeah... isn't the published extra urban figure 23mpg for the SC? I wonder when the last time a thirsty petrol V8 met it's manufacturer's own figures? Wink

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

The last time an owner took a long motorway trip that got them stuck for miles in an average speed monitored set of roadworks per chance S? Apart from the inconvenience of miles of SPECS cameras and travelling at 50mph for 30 minutes or whatever, it's really good for getting the fuel consumption figures improved! Rolling with laughter#
The main reason for my cars getting regular good figures is that I hardly ever drive in big towns and unless something has gone really wrong I never have to drive in commuter stop start traffic 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

the hardest point is resisting putting the pedal to the metal just to hear it roar and go like stink!! Happens all too often !! So fuel drops to 9 or 10 then down the lanes but boy is it fun!!

Go for the SC as you only live once....cant afford to live twice if fuel goes up!!

Hopefully landrover will accept the gas converted cars again as i would go down that route if i could get my dealer to service it!!

As for colour.....go for RED....I love the black but every body has black now!! I picked my kids up from their posh school and 7 black cars where filing out of the car park zzzzzz The same has to be said for silver!! The Orange is great too. Both show the black band / windows off best!!!! Andy J

I know its more expensive and there are very few of them around on the used car market, but you can have exactly the same effect and noises with 25mpg from the TDv8, with less CO2 output too..................................... and would you really notice 1.4secs less 0-60 in day to day driving on UK roads, I doubt it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Indeed. Amazing why people would pay tens of thousands to get 1.4 seconds shaved off the 0-60 time isnt it... Confused

Edited to say: I mean modifications, not upgrading Whistle Just Picked up: 2006 RRS S/C, java with Ivory.
Garage: 2007 Mini Cooper, 2007 BMW 320d, 2002 Renault Clio (its a workhorse, honest)

My TDV6, is currently returning over 30mpg, in busy morning and evening Motorway traffic, doing around 100miles a day.
