TB - excellent!!! a man truly in the know has joined us.....

So are you getting yours through the firm or is it a purely private sale (more than welcome to tell me to keep my nose out Laughing )

Had a mate who worked for Honda in Swindon and he used to get a car effectively on lease Currently: Carbon Black 535d

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

Sorry Kam, I would love to meet up with you all on your visit to the Home of the Legend, but I will be working the dreaded nightshift during the week of the 21st. So unless you are all planning to meet at the factory gates at around 6:30 am I will be safely tucked up in bed.

ST, the Sport is a purely private sale. No discount to employees on either of the Range Rover models which is a bit of a bummer.

I have ordered the TDV6 SE with a few extra's

Well it makes it even more encouraging to hear that someone with so much knowledge about the car wants to own one out of their own pocket! Currently: Carbon Black 535d

Don't get me wrong, the D3 is a fabulous car. It is more of a case that my wallet isn't deep enough to put both on the drive!

We just wanted the same set up but with a more luxurious car like feel to it - Mrs T doesn't like driving the D3 at speed whereas she is fine in the RRS, that along with complete over kill in space (we are presently only a family of two with no dogs and positively rattle around the inside of the Dsico!).

Ultimately the RRS is the much more refined car to look at - the D3 looks the business but in more of a rugged fashion.

And we can afford it Laughing

If things went south tomorrow I certainly wouldn't have a problem keeping the D3, although I would want an 06 car that didn't break so much Big Cry Banging Head Currently: Carbon Black 535d

I fell in love with the Sport the very first time I saw it roll down the production line. I promised myself that one day I would own one.

To be honest I thought I would keep hold of my Freelander for a couple more years and then chop it in for a secondhand RRS. But your only this way once, why wait for someone else to finish having fun before having the car of your dreams.

The RRS is undeniably a good looking car.

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

A variety of possible answers... such as :

I do F-all. I am very good at doing F-all, indeed in my last assessment I was assessed as "Class leading" in doing F-all and I intend on spending the rest of my career perfecting the art of doing F-all.

OR:

I toss pots for a living. I am so good at tossing pots that I am graded a First Class Toss Pot !

OR:

I am a lay about. It is quite a skill laying abouts and many people have tried but failed to lay an about straight and true. But I can lay a straight and true about anytime I want to.

OR:

I am a Big Prick. This is a technical classification awarded by the AAOPS (The American Association of Porn Stars) and I will soon be inducted into the AAOPS Hall of Fame for the Big Prick category.

OR:

I am an Accountant - only kidding !
