Jersey 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

Hi Chuck welcome to the forum.

Yes my TDV6 does hesitate as you described, hopefully JE Engineering will sort this out with an ECU upgrade at the end of the month.

It seems a waste to have an SC drinking so heavily when I am sure you can get as much fun from a TDV6 or TDV8. If money is no object then the world is your lobster, by shares in Shell!! Rolling with laughter

Us poor Jersey boys have to watch our pennies so not many SC's here! Big Cry

Happy hunting Thumbs Up Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,

Last time I was on Jersey and had a hire car I asked about whether I filled it up or let it go empty when I returned it, the salesman chuckled and said that I would be lucky if I ran it out of petrol and to bring it back just as it was at the time. had the car for 5 days and never used more than 1/4 tank and was round the island 3 times Laughing at that time it was less than 20p for a litre Thumbs Up

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

When I put the foot to the floor in my works "truck" the fuel consumption gets to 0.0001mpg.................... and it can only get to 30mph and even then that takes nearly 2 hours on the engine speed up program. It is a 12 cylinder triple turbo diesel producing 94000kW mind you. Normally we measure it's fuel consumption in 100's of tonnes a day (like in 220 tpd at "economical" revs of 79 rpm or 280 tpd flat out at 94rpm) mpg is a bit silly with diesels that size! As for emissions.......... well with what that lump puts out in an hour all of your cars and mine put together would not even get anywhere near it! We have just had Low Sulphur Fuel foisted on us too to reduce the emissions - what a joke 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced

Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Jersey 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

Hey Alicatt, it's surprising how much juice the RRS uses in a month of stop start motoring, but even here with an average speed of only 16 some odd MPH, she still returns 20.2 MPG. That said I have to fill up twice a month Big Cry
