Still thinking about chipping... but in the meantime, I'm considering getting the chrome mirror kit. Not sure whether this will "pimp" up the mobile or not though.. at the moment, it looks very classy, ready to go to the races in (Stornoway Grey with Ivory).

Hey, there is nothing wrong with chrome wing mirrors. It says "buy your stash here" or "I am flash and I am proud" or "wish I'd bought a Lexus Cadillac thingy" or "my mortgage is bigger than yours". If you want to say any or all of those, then get the chrome. If you prefer to just let the LR design team speak for you, say that they have produced a vehicle to be proud of, that doesn't shout but works brilliantly, then leave it unadulterated and ENJOY. Hmmmm..... I really DON'T want to say any of those things!!! Saw a black RRS late at night drive past the house y'day with chrome mirrors... and I did attribute those sentiments towards it when I saw it! It did look very cool but would Jack Bauer have chrome mirrors whilst chasing someone???? Will wait until the next meet and inspect other members' motors before getting some. Will deffo buy some chrome vents though. Most of us are reptiles... only the enlightened few become human beings. |

I got mine from the dealer. They're in two parts. Top one comes already painted in which ever colour you wish. Bottom half comes primed ready to paint....took mine to a local body shop who painted them for me.
