2007 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Java Black

Pics of exhaust tips

I am thinking of installing a straight exhaust tips for my RRS HSE. I am looking for some pics how those straight tips are added to the original exhaust (underneath the car). I have some questions that I am trying to get answered with these pictures:

- Where to cut the original exhaust?
- Do I need some extra piping between the resonator and the tip?
- If I am not adding any extra piping, am I going to angle those tips a little bit downwards to clear the rear bumber?
- Can I clear the bumber some other way, e.g. lowering a whole exhaust a little bit.
- Do I have to lower down the whole exhaust to be able weld those tips?

There should be a bunch of fellow owners that have done this, so please help out the newbie!

Been thinking of doing something so doing some digging

I assume that he swapped out the whole end part of the exhaust with SC part. How much were those SC cat packs and where did you get them? You should also be able to just replace those down bended tips with straight ones (cut off original pipe after the resonators and weld straight tips on) and I was thinking to do that. I would like to see some pics about this kind of setup.

Mate their the SC tips all i did was cut the old ones off and clamped there's on but the HSE pips are 50mm and the SC are 60mm so you need a downpipe to go between

They look the part are you can see but there isn't much sound coming from they if you want sound give JE a call RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Josh had it done to his V6 if i remember right and he said it had a bit if a V8 rumble to it RRS TDV6 Gone but still around

Had the Larini exhausts on my TDV6......had a lovely V8 rumble from them and they look better than those puny SC ones

This picture is of my TDV8 which has had the Larini exhaust installed today at JE. The sound is fantastic. Not cheap, but they come with a lifetime guarantee in S/Steel. TDV6 - gone
