Right, they have 14 days to issue a Notice of Intent to Prosecution. I'm not sure how much leeway exists on that timescale (postal strikes, etc), but you should normally be in clear on day 15.

As long as it is sent once within that time limit. But should it be held up for any reason ie. postal strike then it has still been sent. So they could post on the 14th day and you might not receive it for a week which still counts I'm afraid.
