United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Arctic Frost
car wont start

Over the last couple of days when i have come to start the sport it has been reluctant to start, when the key is turned it just went click, then after a second it started, until this morning when it took about five attempts to start.

Spoke to my dealer who said that L/R assist needs to come and have a look, but it is an intermittent fault only happening when started from cold.

Now my dilema is this, if it starts for L/R assist they wont do anything and if i drive it home and it wont start and needs recovering then i am in trouble as a recovery vehicle will not get to my house.

What should i do??? some of my Previous cars

Not worth the risk of it getting stuck at the top of your drive. LR would have to get it picked up by helicopter Laughing Laughing

Of course I can diagnose the problem.

The poor car is now missing one of it's leather care tags Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Your problem sounds just like the LR Experience RRS we had at Dunkeld, it sometimes took 3 or 4 turns of the key to get it to start. It was a TDV8 on a 06 plate. Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

Shocked Shocked mmm really close Rolling Eyes
I know a guy who works for them, only certain branches hold the 'good' stock that is reserved for LR etc.
I expect the FL is just coming from an out of hours pool, so you get what is left. Rolling Eyes

Make noise about the hire car... they can search around other Enterprise (I presume it's them) and get something better. And if they don't play ball, go back to LRA and complain - Mondial is one of Enterprise's biggest customers and they don't like the upset.
