Imho, xenon is much better than hologen... it's bright, the light is clear... everything is better! 2014 Mercedes-Benz S500

I'm not sure if I can get a Xenon kit for my 5 series so I've just ordered a pair of Crystal Vision.

Don't they take a bigger gulp of electricity at startup? Seem to remember having this conversation before... 2009 Outstanding Contribution Award - Joint Runner Up 2009 'Tech-Head Of The Year' Award - Runner Up Like it here? Then Donate to RRSPORT!! |

I seem to think that they use less electricity once they're running but I do believe that S is correct in saying that they require more power on startup because its an actual gas unit per'se and it takes a while for it to heat up to optimum which is in the region of around 4-5 seconds I believe. I might be wrong but somehow I remember that. Michael Potter Rangey Lover/BMW Driver |
